Best Season to visit JLR Kings Sanctuary Resort

While the JLR Kings Sanctuary Resort Nagarhole is suitable for travel all year round, the October to May months is ideal for spotting animals and birds, since travel within the park is easier. It is better to avoid monsoon season if you are keen on wildlife spotting or birding.

March to May: The soaring temperature causes the forest to get dry, and trees start shedding leaves making wildlife sighting relatively easier. It’s an excellent time for birdwatching.

June to September: Being the monsoon season here, it is ideal for nature lovers looking for a quiet time to unwind since the area receives plenty of rainfall. Safari may be stopped owing to overcast conditions, and during heavy rains, the park may be closed for visitors. Watch out for leeches during a nature walk!

November to January: The locale is at its best during this winter period as the forest is at its lush green, vibrant best after the monsoon season. Many migratory birds transit the area during this time.
